The Supervisor Development Program is a 18 – 30 months leadership rotational program committed to growing Supervisor’s early career, high potential professionals with a passion for leading people, a drive for excellence and professional skills by accelerating their development through intense technical/soft skill training and a variety of challenging assignments.
Rotational assignments during the course of the program will be within operations driven by NuVasive business priorities.
Diverse experience may encompass: manufacturing/quality support, planning and process improvement through Lean and Six Sigma methodology.
May supervise directly or indirectly a group of shareowners during project assignments.
Nature and Scope:
Applies basic principles, concepts, practices and standards of a professional field to complete standard tasks and assignments.
Normally receives detailed instructions on all work.
Works under general direction on problems of limited scope; uses discretion to complete tasks.
Researches and interprets factual information (e.g., assesses accuracy of detailed information, identifies inconsistencies in data and results); frequently solves problems through research of multiple alternatives.
Contributes to team initiatives and builds stable working relationships with internal and external contacts.
Impacts the immediate workgroup through the accuracy of tasks and information provided.
Perform duties in compliance with applicable FDA and state regulations as well as standards including, but not limited to, ISO 13485.
Strong teamwork, Interpersonal skills.
High School Diploma required.
Recent or soon to be graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering. Must have degree prior to start of the program.
Prior intern, co-op manufacturing experience.
